PR Dispatch founder Rosie approached us with a plea to revamp their members' experience. PR Dispatch offer a popular DIY PR service where small businesses can access a database, resources. While their service is excellent - award-winning - their members' platforms were clunky and outdated. Rosie didn’t want to send any members away due to this.
Today, PR Dispatch have the platform Rosie 'never dreamed was possible'. We created a custom database that is arguably the easiest UK PR database to use. We streamlined their membership service so members have a seamless experience across different tools. PR Dispatch have a platform that they are confident will win them more sales with ideal clients. Members love the new platform.

WHAT WE DID
Vision Statements
We began by drilling down into key wants and needs for PR Dispatch & their members via Vision Statements. We reflected that the main want for their member is to find the best PR opportunities for them in the shortest amount of time. We challenged Rosie to aim for more: ‘We can design the tech to fit our needs’ rather than make our needs fit in the tech (workarounds).
Platform Finding & Tests
We got creative, pushing boundaries of all solutions. We presented and explained different options. After initial research and testing, we confirmed our chosen solution. We created a strategy: to trial an existing membership tool, integrate it with community and website services, and create a custom database.
Supercharged Members’ Database
Our new members’ database is easy to use, with search, filters, and favourites. It is a custom full-stack build. The data comes from an Airtable base that we architected so the team has an easy daily interface. It’s the database of Rosie’s dreams: something she didn’t think was within reach before.
Seamless Members’ Experience
Using a pre-existing membership tool, PR Dispatch members have a seamless experience between database, resources, and community. They have one login and stay logged in, and can view and adjust their membership from any site.
Seamless Migration
The largest concern for Rosie was the act of migrating 600+ members including their payment information from the previous to the new system. We completed extensive preparation and testing. On the day, this was a calm, smooth, successful and straightforward experience.
